Baja Russia – Nothern Forest 2017

The world’s only snow and ice rally raid takes place on 24-26 February 2017 in Karelia. There are more than 350 competitive kilometers, tens crews from 20 countries and unique track characteristics.

The race on snow and ice surface is of special interest to off-road motorsport professionals. Snowmobile track is a perfect testing site for racing car cross-country characteristics. 

The ceremonial start and the prologue take place on 24 February in Sortavala town, located close to the Finnish border. More than 200-km long special stages route runs through the protected forests in Sortavala and Suojarvi Karelian districts. The track configuration differs from 2016 one, the competitors will cover more than 450 kilometers.
